DUBAI, UAE — Ten people were injured after a giant crane collapsed at Dubai port.
According to the Maritime Herald, the accident took place at the Port of Jebel Ali on May 4th. Port operator DP World said a container vessel was trying to berth at Terminal 1 when it hit the leg of a crane.
The crane then collapsed, and a second crane was also pushed off its rails but remained stable. Nine people suffered minor injures in the accident and one person was treated for fractured arm and leg.
