Thousands marched to the parliament building in Budapest on Sunday, in the latest protest against the Prime Minister Victor Orban’s government clampdown on a foreign university and NGOs.

The wave of protests erupted at the start of April over a new law that would shut down the Central European University founded by US financier George Soros.

Protesters reportedly set up a tents in front of the university in the evening, saying that they would not leave until the law was withdrawn.
