Hundreds gathered in Manchester’s Albert Square Tuesday evening, May 23, as the city showed its grit in the wake of a suicide bombing at the end of a pop concert the night before.
Poets and politicians joined the gathering in front of Manchester’s Town Hall, and shouts of “Manchester!” and “Manchester La La La!” were heard.
The bombing at the end of Ariana Grande’s concert at Manchester Arena Monday night killed 22 people and wounded dozens more.
