You can always count on Umarex USA to come up with a few new products for SHOT and 2016 was no different. Looking to help tackle scope mounting for new airgunners, while at the same time creating a quieter airgun, Umarex introduces their new “Nucleus” rail system. Going even further, Umarex has sought to address the single most frustrating part of owning and shooting a spring airguns, the dreaded double recoil. The new “StopShox” attaches to a floating receiver action. Dual springs reduce the felt recoil by dampening the movement in both directions. The new Nucleus Rail System will be available in the new Surge Max and the new StopShox system will be introduced in the new Umarex Throttle. Expect to see both in stores later this year.
