The London Bridge incident bears striking similarities to the attack back on March 22, when a man ploughed his car into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge, before fatally stabbing a policeman. The deadly attack in Manchester two weeks ago had already exposed a striking division among politicians about who is to blame for the assaults in the country. This night the attackers rammed into pedestrians with a van on London Bridge before carrying out stabbings in Borough Market.
