Qatar asks UN body to intervene in Gulf airspace row

Many Qatar Airways flights to and from Doha have had to make huge detours because of an airspace blockade by Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt.

It has been costly to the airline and disruptive to passengers.
