身為「柯波拉」家族成員之一，艾琳諾柯波拉（Eleanor Coppola）的名字雖然不如先生法蘭斯西柯波拉（Francis Ford Coppola）與女兒蘇菲亞柯波拉（Sofia Coppola）來的響亮，但她過去也曾帶來不少影像作品，其中最為人所知的就是記錄
《現代啟示錄》（Apocalypse Now）的幕後紀實影片《黑暗之心》（Hearts Of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse）。
在許多紀錄短片累積導演經歷後，艾琳諾柯波拉於 2016 年多倫多影展帶來了首部劇情長片《Paris Can Wait》，並且親自擔綱編劇，日前釋出了首支預告。劇情描述一名與知名電影製作人結婚多年的中年婦女 Anne 正處於人生的交叉路口，一次意外的與先生的生意夥伴共同踏上從坎城到巴黎的旅途，原本七小時的車程卻成了一趟無憂無慮的兩天小旅行，在種種因素的交織下，也喚醒了 Anne 對於生命的全新欲望。
《Paris Can Wait》的演出卡司包括戴安蓮恩（Diane Lane）、亞歷鮑德溫（Alec Baldwin）、亞諾維亞德（Arnaud Viard）等，接下來還將在翠貝卡影展登場，5 月12 日美國上映。
Storyline
Anne is at a crossroads in her life. Long married to a successful, driven but inattentive movie producer, she unexpectedly finds herself taking a car trip from Cannes to Paris with a business associate of her husband. What should be a seven-hour drive turns into a carefree two-day adventure replete with diversions involving picturesque sights, fine food and wine, humor, wisdom and romance, reawakening Anne's senses and giving her a new lust for life.
