The US has a system of international media outlets working to promote American values abroad. It's run by the BBG - or the broadcasting board of governors, and one of its aims is to counter the message broadcast by channels, like us. However, independent observers claim instead of offering an alternative to RT, for example, the outlets are often reading from the very same page.
