Locals stepped in on Tuesday (July 25) to rescue a dolphin which attempted to beach itself on Weymouth Beach, Dorset.
Footage showed a group of people helping to guide the disorientated marine mammal back out to sea.
After several attempts by the bystanders, the dolphin eventually swam off safely away from the beach.
