Merkel rejects use of force in N. Korea and verbal 'escalation'

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Friday that she opposed any use of force to resolve the conflict with North Korea, and that she considered a verbal escalation "the wrong response" after Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un engaged in a war of words.
