Hermione went missing in 2004 from Redbridge. In July 2017
she went into the care of the RSPCA following concerns from members of the public as her owner had died & she was suffering from fur loss & fleas. The owner's daughter said the cat hadn't actually belonged to her father.
When she was scanned it was found her true owner was in fact Sue Hopkins who lived 27 miles away. The family had moved 4 times during the time she was missing, but Sue always updated the microchip details each time she moved.
Sue & her family are now trying to compensate for all the lost years.
