Biking up a wall?This is the Vycle, a pedal-powered vertical transport system that could be a cool alternative to stairs and elevators.
The design resembles a bicycle, and is attached to a vertical rail with counterweights helping balance the rider.
It could be used for moving from floor to floor, or in construction, to quickly scale a skyscraper.
Vycle was developed by a student at the Royal College of Art.
It’s currently a prototype. But it sure beats a boring elevator ride.
