After over one year of detention, dismissed Masbate governor Rizalina Seachon Lanete was granted bail from plunder over the alleged pork barrel scam.
The Sandiganbayan Fourth Division allowed Lanete to post a P500,000 bail from plunder after the prosecution failed to prove that Lanete was guilty of receiving at least P50 million in alleged kickbacks.
