Hundreds of Polish farmers marched through Warsaw on Thursday to protest Russian sanctions, and the EU agriculture commissioner’s planned visit to the Polish capital. Poland is the EU’s largest apple producer. In 2013, 56 percent of Polish apple exports went to Russia.
