Voters across eastern Ukraine have cast their ballots and chosen their leaders. The self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk republics have been striving for greater autonomy, refusing to recognize the current Kiev authorities. There has been a harsh reaction from the Ukrainian capital.
