A journalist was shot in the leg and several other people were injured when protesters clashed with police during the second Free Pass Movement (MPL) demonstration in Sao Paulo on Friday. Six people were arrested, with some of sustaining injuries that required them to be taken to hospital. According to witness reports, the protest remained calm until evening, but escalated when the activists marched towards city hall.
