Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. Students of SNIS had organised a special assembly dedicated to establishing the idea that ‘Peace is no one man’s business!’ The students of grades 3, 4 & 5 demonstrated through a montage, how beliefs and practices of various religions communicate the same ideals with an objective to experience peace within and out; it also brought out the essence of all religious doctrines which practiced effectively aid to eradicate sufferings of the world; war in particular.
Suhani, Sarah, Kuhu, Aminath and Ruchita- representing the Middle and High school, gave Peace Day messages through poems, speeches and narratives.
Grade 8 anchored the event that was concluded with a brilliant rendition of ‘Heal the wolrd” by Ruchita and GJ.
The entire school rallied the campus with Placards, Posters and Banners shouting the slogan, “Peace is MY responsibility”!
