On Tuesday, the tech giant announced an 'advanced protection program' that would provide stronger email security for journalists, government officials, and political activists. The feature gives you the option to require a USB security key to connect to your computer to verify your identity when logging in, and mobile log ins will require a Bluetooth wireless device. These new email security services come after phishing schemes, like the one involving Hillary Clinton. Users who opt-in to the advanced protection feature will have their data walled off from access by non-google entities, like Apple iOS mail or Microsoft Outlook.
