Gmail's got your back with new security feature

Gmail is protecting you against hackers, and here's how. On Tuesday, the tech giant announced an 'advanced protection program' that would provide stronger email security for journalists, government officials, and political activists. The feature gives you the option to require a USB security key to connect to your computer to verify your identity when logging in, and mobile log ins will require a Bluetooth wireless device. These new email security services come after phishing schemes, like the one involving Hillary Clinton. Users who opt-in to the advanced protection feature will have their data walled off from access by non-google entities, like Apple iOS mail or Microsoft Outlook.
