How to use Portrait mode and Portrait Lighting on the iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus?
In Portrait mode, you can only frame with the telephoto lens, but as of iOS 11, users have most other Camera app features available to them. That includes flash - including the iPhone 8 Plus's and iPhone X's Slow-Sync flash along with timed photos, filters, and HDR.
