I only just recently got this game and while it takes a large amount of time to get used to. It's certainly am enjoyable experience. My ability to play the game still isn't that high and swapping between this and Crusader Kings 2 is a bit of an issue sometimes. Especially when trying to appease people...
I plan to get some fun mods and create time-lapses with them as well.
