I wrote and recorded this song before #Metoo and #Churchtoo became known. I support both. If you have suffered abuse, please reach out to someone. Don't live in the darkness. There is grace for you. But that doesn't mean you have to stay in the situation. Let someone help you get free.
And if you are the abuser, there's grace for you too. But you need to confess and come clean. You are hurting a child of God. God will not be silent. And the church should not be either. No one has the right to abuse anyone. Not in the name of love. Not in the name of God.
