Hobos in Dust are an indie-folk band based in Bergamo (Italy). The project was born in 2014 as an acoustic duo (Danilo, singer and Giorgio, guitar), but as the first album was recorded, Nicola and Paolo (drums and double bass respectively) joined the group.
The first album, Capitan’s Tale (2016), is the story of a boat captain, who sails seas while singing tales. From each tale, a song in the album.
The second album is titled Paper Planes (2017). Everyone has made one in their life, so the band made them out of the pages they used to write our lyrics. This is how the album was born, from Paper Planes: tales of people, journeys, farewells, fights, hopes and songs sung around the bonfire.
Everyday stories flow into music, in an authentic and sincere way. Vocals, backing vocals, claps and stomps fit perfectly with guitars, double bass and minimal folk drums.
Paper Planes unfolds like some friends gathered around a bonfire telling stories, not pretending to be majestic, but with emotions written on paper planes that fly through true tales.
