Luke Bryan gave his wife, Caroline Boyer a very controversial Christmas gift this year. He gave her not one, but two baby kangaroos. As soon as people online found out about this, Bryan immediately received backlash for such a gift. Some said the animals needed trained animal carers while others told him to do the right thing and release them into their own environment. The singer posted a photo of them on Instagram and said they are both adjusting to their home very well. According to Australia’s National Kangaroo Protection Coalition, red and gray kangaroos are bred for pets in the United States and Canada.
