On January 31 the world’s eyes turned skyward to witness a blue moon, lunar eclipse and supermoon all in one go.
According to the ABC those lucky enough to have a clear night to gaze at the moon observed a phenomenon that had not been seen in 150 years but in some parts, it was last seen 35 years ago.
