The Home Ministry on Tuesday ordered all states and union territories to ban app-based taxi services in the wake of the recent rape incident in Delhi involving global service provider Uber.
This comes as a disappointment to some users who have been using such app-based services as opposed to traditional radio-taxis which are comparatively expensive.
