South Korea: Seoul Won't Ease Sanctions on North President Moon Jae-in isn't planning on easing sanctions against North Korea despite being in talks with Kim Jong Un. "These international efforts (to pressure the North) cannot be loosened by inter-Korean dialogue. We don't aim for that to happen and it's also impossible." Moon Jae-in Moon's remarks came a day after South Korea announced an agreement with North to hold a joint summit in April.
