Rennes and Saint-Etienne both deserved points after Saturday’s exciting 1-1 draw. With the Bretons throwing the kitchen sink at Stephane Ruffier but failing to match Neven Subotic’s opener, the were eventually bailed out by Ismaila Sarr, whose header was found by a splendid Benjamin Bourigeaud cross.
