There have been many dramatic predictions about the Ecuadorean government's economic policies but the new measures just announced by President Lenin Moreno don't seem to quite fit that narrative. So ¿where is the government steering Ecuador's economy? To talk about this, we are very pleased to have with us, Virgilio Hernandez, he's been a prominent figure in Ecuador's Citizen Revolution for over ten years, he was a member of the Constituent Assembly, then a member of the National Assembly. He was an adviser to President Moreno in the early months of his government, but resigned as the differences with the previous administration of Rafael Correa deepened.
