5 Dead After Military Plane Crash Outside of Savannah, Georgia A C-130 “Hercules” plane crashed outside of the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport on Wednesday morning. According to an Air Force spokesperson, of the nine people who were onboard the aircraft, four are missing while five are confirmed dead. The plane crashed on a highway intersection close to the airport, scattering debris across the road.
