The Trump admin has a new "zero tolerance" policy for those illegally crossing the border.
AG Jeff Sessions said Monday that 100% of border-crossing cases will be criminally prosecuted.
As a result, immigrant children will be automatically separated from their parents.
The Trump admin has previously suggested separating families would be a deterrent.
AG Sessions said, "If you don't like that, then don't smuggle children over our border."
