A Congolese gynecologist in Iraq is helping Yazidi women overcome rape stigma. He paid homage to the Yazidis' baba sheikh, or spiritual leader, who decreed women raped by the Islamic State Group should not be stigmatized. In 2014, the Islamic State kidnapped thousands of Yazidi women and girls to use them as sex slaves.
