According to Reuters, the Trump administration proposed a rule to scale back rebates between drug manufacturers and insurers and pharmacy benefits managers.
The Office of Management and Budget published the proposal of their website.
The Department of Health and Human Services reportedly prepared the rule for the administration.
But details have not been made public yet, and the OMB site only refers to removing safe harbor protection for rebates from an existing law.
