Digital Trends is reporting that it looks like consumers might be over VR. The sales numbers, as tracked by Amazon sales rank data at Thinknum, make this crystal clear. Sony pushed virtual reality with its PlayStation VR headset and at first, Sony saw decent sales.Taiwan-based HTC also launched the Vive headset in April 2016. The $799 HTC Vive had the entertainment and gaming industries rushing to develop content for the new system. Sales quickly climbed, but today its sales rank has plummeted.
