Suneel Gupta is best known as the brother of CNN's Sanjay Gupta. But Democrats in Michigan's 11th District know he is far more than that.He's the only candidate who is a proven job creator. He helped create hundreds of jobs at Groupon, Mozilla and Rise.In fact, he's the only candidate with actual health care experience in race. He's from the heart and soul of Michigan. His parents lost their auto jobs to outsourcing and then faced health crises. He understands Michigan families because he has lived it. Suneel was born in Livonia and raised in Novi. He went to Novi public schools and washed dishes on nights and weekends at Salvatore Scallopini's. After studying computer programming at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, he used his skills to help the State of Michigan track down deadbeat Dads that refused to pay child support and the United States Navy improve their military operations.Suneel has led and lectured on Entrepreneurship at the University of Michigan and been named a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University.He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a law degree from Northwestern Law School. He was sworn in by Justice Roberts to practice in front of the United States Supreme Court.
