Reuters reports the US Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue that "U.S. farmers could receive cash payments from a planned $12 billion aid package as soon as late September..." The program only includes farmers who grow wheat, cotton, corn, shorghum, soyeans, dairy and hogs. It also is offering them a trade promotion program to develop new markets. $200 million is going towards the expansion of trade missions.
