Floodwaters filled the home and yard of a resident in Lynchburg, Virginia, on August 2.
In the video, a filmer captures floodwaters covering his front yard.
“The house got flooded,” the filmer says. “Everything’s soaking wet on the inside. Lost a lot of stuff. This is awful.”
The heavy rains in Lynchburg caused a dam to overspill, leading to evacuations, according to media reports.
