Pasir Salak MP Tajuddin Abdul Rahman told Parliament today that his first car was purchased in 1972 for RM7,000.
Tajuddin said people can no longer buy a brand new car for that price.
He said this when attempting to explain how the Pakatan Harapan government should take a holistic approach when trying to tackle the cost of living.
