The Big Oyster: NYC looks to molluscs to purify its estuary

Before it was the Big Apple, New York City was the Big Oyster. The "Billion Oyster Project" is reviving that heritage by restoring the city's oyster reefs, in order to purify its waters and protect biodiversity.
