తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలోని 17 లోక్సభ నియోజకవర్గాలలో హైదరాబాద్ నియోజకవర్గం ప్రత్యేకమైనది. 2014 ఏపీ విభజనకు ముందు సమైక్య ఏపీలోని 42 నియోజకవర్గాలలోను ఇది ప్రత్యేకమైనదే. ప్రస్తుతం (2014-2019) హైదరాబాద్ ఎంపీగా మజ్లిస్ పార్టీ అధ్యక్షులు అసదుద్దీన్ ఓవైసీ ఉన్నారు. ఆయన గత మూడు పర్యాయాలుగా వరుసగా గెలుచుకుంటూ వస్తున్నారు. అంతకుముందు ఆరు పర్యాయాలు ఆయన తండ్రి సలాలుద్దీన్ ఓవైసీ ఎంపీగా ఉన్నారు.
