The New York Times recently reported on how President Donald Trump’s inauguration money was spent. In 2017 he received more than $100 million in donations, beating any of Trump’s predecessors. According to Business Insider, $1.5 million of those donations was spent on the Trump International Hotel. Some of those expenses included $10,000 on makeup services for 20 aides and $30,000 for daily expenses of contract staffers.
