According to the alleged victim. She was estranged from her husband and living in a house owned by Zia Khan. During the course of her stay, she got close to Zia Khan who lured her with promises to marry her, but ended up raping her instead. As time passed and Zia Khan wasn't ready to marry her. The alleged victim went and filed a rape case against him. Zia Khan was arrested and later released on bail. There was a twist in the story when the alleged victim claimed that Badruddin Qureshi's sons - Riyaz and Ajju, threatened her to withdraw her case against Zia Khan.
