India News: Sources say for the last three months, all communications and movements of Kumar, Singla and Goyal were being closely monitored by the agency.
Kumar's phone was under constant surveillance and just a day after his appointment as member of the Railway Board, he was arrested for allegedly paying money to the railway minister's nephew for getting him his desired posting.
A top government source told Mail Today, "We were tracking them for about three months since we got the lead that money is exchanging hands in the railway ministry for postings, transfers and appointments in connection with big contracts. We have tracked over 1,000 telephone calls and were waiting for money to be actually exchanged so that the accused could be caught red-handed."
