Immediately after the party's drubbing in 2008 assembly elections, followed by 2009 Lok Sabha elections, the party's national leadership under Rajnath Singh's presidency had concluded that Raje was responsible for the losses because of her omissions and commissions, as well as bad handling of government and party affairs. Now, the same Singh, announced in Delhi on Saturday that Raje was the chosen leader for the 2013 state assembly elections. Raje undertook a massive road show yesterday that is on February 7 when she entered Rajasthan from Haryana border to take over her latest assignment.
