Police have contained a man in the Addiscombe area of Croydon earlier today (March 19).
Eyewitness reports suggest that the man is still inside a car and taking refuge from the police as they negotiate with him.
Croydon Police said: "Police were called shortly after 08:30hrs today by a man threatening to harm people.
"Officers, including armed officers, attended and located the man in a car in Pagehurst Road, #Addiscombe.
"Officers remain with the man and are attempting to peacefully resolve the incident."
The filmer told Newsflare: “Man still in the car, not wanting to speak with police. The police unsure what to do. They have him surrounded but don’t seem to be too concerned.”
