Jussie Smollet's Dropped Charges 
A 'Whitewash of Justice' Smollett, who was accused of staging 
a hate crime against himself, was 
cleared of all charges on Tuesday. Chicago prosecutors dropped the case with 
little explanation, which infuriated Mayor Rahm Emanuel 
and Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson. Superintendent Eddie Johnson, via statement Superintendent Eddie Johnson, via statement Smollett gave up his bail amount 
of $10,000 and will participate

capable of one drop of what I’ve been accused of.”
