The ancient coppersmiths' market, known as 'Souk al-Nahhaseen', in Aleppo's Bab al-Nasr neighbourhood was reopened following restoration works. Souk al-Nahhaseen, situated near Aleppo citadel, was built in 1539. The coppersmiths' market suffered significant damage during the country's protracted war. Prior to its destruction, it housed dozens of traditional and modern production shops.
