Disney Reveals New Subscription Bundle.
The deal, which includes access to Disney+ and ESPN+, will cost users
$12.99 per month.
An ad-supported version of Hulu
will be involved as well.
The offer comes as the Disney+ streaming service is set to launch this November.
The $12.99 price is also the same amount as competitor Netflix's most used subscription plan.
The bundle was announced by
Disney CEO Bob Iger, who says that it offers "tremendous quality and variety.".
Our play in the digital OTT space, ultimately globally but starting in the U.S., is general entertainment in Hulu, more family-like entertainment in Disney+, and sports in ESPN+, Disney CEO Bob Iger,
via earnings call.
The deal also saves you around $5 per month compared
to if you subscribe to Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu
with ads separately.
