Jeff Bezos Unveils New 
Plan to Tackle Climate Change By making the "Climate Pledge," 
Bezos has committed Amazon 
to achieving the Paris Climate 
Agreement's goals, 10 years ahead of time. Jeff Bezos, Amazon CEO, via CNBC Bezos committed Amazon 
to other standards, including 
keeping regular track of its emissions. By 2024, the Amazon CEO 
plans for renewable energy to 
account for 80% of the company's needs.  Bezos plans for Amazon to 
operate at zero emissions by 2030. In order to assist in these goals, 
Amazon will purchase 100,000 
electric delivery vans from the auto company 
Rivian. The vans will all be on the road by 2024. Amazon also committed to a 
$100 million donation to The Nature 
of Conservancy, in order to establish 
the Right Now Climate Fund.
