Rihanna confirmed the reason she turned
down the 2018 Super Bowl Halftime Show. .
It was initially reported by 'US Weekly' that the
31-year-old singer turned down the offer due to
the Colin Kaepernick kneeling controversy of 2016. .
In her 'Vogue' interview, Rihanna said that was
“absolutely” her reason for refusing the NFL’s offer. .
