How to Draw a Sword Easy Things to Draw
Here we will discuss how to draw a sword. We will discuss different methods to draw a sword to develop some better understanding of some skills of good drawing. In this method we learn how to draw a boom box as follow:
First, make a simple line for the total length of the sword. This includes the handle, hand guard, and blade. The first thing you will draw is the handle and hand guard. Next up, draw the blade design for your sword. Since this is a scimitar, you will need to make a notch at the tip of the blade. This sword has two points. Add detailing to the blade and then to the handle of the sword. Erase any mistakes that you may have made. Here is your sword when you are all done with this tutorial. Now you can have fun coloring it in and put it to good use.
In this next method we will draw another sword as follow:
AS you can see this is going to be an easy sword to tackle even though it's a claymore. Begin with three guidelines. These lines will be for the hand grip and handguard. Once the lines are drawn you can then begin shaping out the handle of the Claymore sword like so. Remember this is a Scottish word which means the design is somewhat simple. Next, draw the shapes of the handguards, as well as the William Wallace scarf that is tied to the mid-section of the handle like so.
